Geological exploration works
From licensing and field work to resource and reserve estimation under KazRC
Geological exploration for your project
We carry out the full range of geological exploration works, from licence preparation and field studies to laboratory analysis, geological support, and resource and reserve estimation.
We combine field work, laboratory studies and reporting in one coordinated service.
The study programme is defined by the task, geological conditions and stage of subsoil development.
Working across Kazakhstan
Field and laboratory studies
KazRC resources and reserves
Scope of work
Licensing
Preparation of licences for geological studies, exploration and extraction of solid minerals.
Borehole drilling
Exploration boreholes, including inclined boreholes, and technological boreholes: core, auger, cable-tool and vibration drilling.
Exploration ditches and trenches
Mechanical, drilling-and-blasting and manual excavation with sampling and sample documentation.
Geophysical investigations
Borehole logging, electrical and magnetic surveying, gravity and seismic surveying, and airborne geophysics.
Geological support
Exploration traverses, documentation of trenches and boreholes, and core sampling and logging.
Laboratory studies
Sample preparation, analytical testing and determination of physical and mechanical properties.
Resources and reserves
Resource and reserve estimation in accordance with KazRC standards.
Competent Persons
Cooperation with Competent Persons and international professional organisations.
How we work
A clear process at every stage
Discuss the task
We review the initial data and technical specification.
Prepare a proposal
We agree on the scope of work, timeframe and cost.
Carry out the work
We perform studies and engineering works.
Deliver the results
We provide reports and documentation.
Costs and timeframes are calculated against the technical specification
